Note from the Editor
Dearest readers, contributors, and friends,
This letter is long overdue, and I am extending my sincerest apologies in not communicating sooner. Over the past year I have been experiencing a severe progression and relapse of the multiple sclerosis, which has greatly affected and even further advanced the degradation of my mobility, dexterity, cognitive functioning, increases in pain and fatigue, and various other symptoms. I have gone through numerous medication additions and changes, countless appointments for PT, OT, speech therapy, orthopedist, physio, neuro, ER visits, etc. In needing to focus on my health, I have not been able to put the effort, energy, and consideration needed to receive, review, and witness your incredible submissions and contributions or curate those gifts in a meaningful way. I am, with much support, love, and patience, getting to a space where I will be able to re-engage purposefully and with an open mind and full heart.
There is light breaking through the fog of this time, and I am gently beginning to see myself unfolding anew.
For those who have submitted and have not heard back, please know that your submissions will be reviewed and considered. For those whose pieces have been accepted, please know that your contributions will be published. My hope is to have the second volume published before the end of 2021.
My gratitude for your understanding and compassion are beyond words..
Humbly and graciously yours,
Erin Catherine Hunter, Editor-in-Chief
